Ecological Footprint

The Ecological Footprint is a measure of how we change and stress nature with our way of life.
With the different calculators find out how big your footprint is.

See what happens when you change your behaviour - actually or virtually.

The Ecological Footprint calculated with the SPI-method was designed and developed by Dr. Christian Krotscheck within his diploma thesis and his PhD thesis at the Institute of Process and Particle Engineering at Graz University of Technology under the supervision of Prof. Michael Narodoslawsy. The data in the footprint calculators mainly come from work done by Dr. Karl-Heinz Kettl, Michael Eder, MSc, Dr. Stephan Maier, René Kollmann, MSc, Dr. Nora Niemetz und Barbara Truger, BSc. All of them are former employees at the Institute of Process and Particle Engineering at Graz University of Technology
